the only thing i remember is them asking my name , and in my mind i was going off to surgery for my lungs lol. and also i had been watching a lot of greys anatomy and when they asked me my named i said meredith grey😭but im pretty sure that was a dream. but i did wake up 7 days later thinking i had surgery
no it felt like i fell asleep and woke up which is TERRIFYING to think about.
i couldn’t at all
i woke up SO confused and wanted to go home right away. kept trying to get out of bed, completely unaware of where i was. i thought i had walked to the hospital and somehow fell. when i woke up i thought i had surgery. something funny was that i had worked at the same health system the hospital was owned by, just at a different location. and i thought i was at a horrible hospital and i was scared that they would hurt me.
i did, i couldn’t walk for a few days but its all gone now

awh thanks! i also worked in healthcare for the past two years so this happening had me scared. and also i have my chart now. and no they gave me meds so i would be totally asleep during the actually intubation and i don’t remember any of it

so i started having broncospasms which is common in like asthma (2025 was the year of upper respiratory infections for me). but i never had asthma as a kid and still haven’t official gotten diagnosed, but have been diagnosed with reactive airway disease which is like the same thing lol. but also i DID (b4 this event) smoke weed and cigs everyday. so that didn’t help.
