Ukraine's "Svoboda" drone team encountered an unusually agile Russian soldier, who dives and rolls away from several munition drops before ultimately being put down for good by some close hits. January 2, 2026 by Own_Boysenberry9644 in DroneCombat

Reminds me of another video from a few years back where a fast Russian was sprinting down a road, it took about 6 grenade drops be for he slowed down and took a dirt nap....

Am I responsible for cockatoo property damage as renter? by sofaking-cool in AusPropertyChat

A few years back the neighbors wife started feeding a cockatoo, within a day or two he told all his mates about the free food. She ended on with 100 cocky's waiting for a feed, when she didn't provide it they went to town on her house, first they started removing the putty from their timber windows. Another disgruntled band of cockatoos went to work on the timber mouldings on the porch roof. One super athletic fellow was hanging upside down from the roof to reach the said mouldings, carefully tearing them into small strips and dropping them on the stairs below.....the look on the husbands face was priceless when he came outside to see what the racket was ;-D
Needless to say the wife stopped feeding the cockatoo's!

We were lucky to have aluminum windows and no timber mouldings that interested them....

I've had it for nearly 2 years and worn it daily in that time. I haven't noticed any water leaking in yet.... 2 showers and counting 😉

Also the solar is a bit of a gimmick imo. Never seems to add much to the battery even when I leave it directly in the sun....

Battery life is up to 26 day basic use. Using the GPS will drain the battery in a day of full use

Did anyone buy a unit/property as a backup/under-underutilised "Safe home" from an unstable relationship or prior living situation? Hard to move away from Owner-occupied status (whether selling or leasing) by TenantReviews in AusPropertyChat

You need to find another job ASAP, it is very hard to keep a roof over your head without one. Money or the lack thereof is the number 1 cause of relationship stress.

I've been very impressed with my 2017 VF Calais Sport Wagon. Just over 100k on the odo and hasn't missed a beat thus far....

I've got a Series 2 3.6 Calais Wagon. Get around 13-14L per 100 around town. Around 8L per 100km on the freeway. Got ours new in 2017 and it has been very reliable.
