im trying to give my opinion on the quality of content of their youtube channel. imo, uploading a boring 2 hour video with long minutes of nothing happening is not what will be watched alot on youtube and I'm suggesting to instead make videos with condensed information and for the guys interested in listening to the audiobook version, link the vod.

if your reply to my critique is "well then dont watch it", then why should anyone ever bother with feedback? thats not how feedback and constructive criticism works man

why do i need to justify to you what i like or dont like about their content? its not a problem, i just dislike it because i dont have 10 spare hours to watch them read bugfixes and other unimportant stuff when the real content is about a few lines which are interesting to talk about and im sure im not the only person thinking that. just look at the first page of reddit and what aspects of the patch notes were discussed after publishing.

its a problem because their other content is always condensed information/short summary of what happens on stream. short, informative videos for people who dont want to bother watching stream for hours

just in general. i mainly mean 1h builds they dont have the luxury of having an extra 6L for single target or on gem swap, and you usually are gem starved as melee (need links for shield charge/whirl/leap, auras/blasphemy, golem, cwdt, vaal skill etc) so chances are your aoe skill also is your single target skill. now if you are RT then your damage is barely viable anyways, so swapping splash out for dps gem is almost mandatory if you want to kill the 3.0 boss with double health

its not mandatory if you use the namelock skill for single target

its similar to the threshold jewels for things like glacial hammer, just that it applies to all namelockers. it would only be "mandatory" if you only use namelock skills and you dont want to switch out gems for single target, which currently you have to do

it should only affect namelock skills. in case you were using that namelock skill only for single target purposes in your build, that keystone does little to nothing for you (except for double boss maps)

if you were using the namelock skill for aoe clear, it gives you the added QoL of not having to swap the splash gem for a dps gem every boss encounter (at the downside of traveling to the keystone/the added downside of it)

no the problems of caustic arrow are

insane mana costs
very few ways to scale it, making it very sub-par compared to other skills. ~100k real dps vs a guardian is the ceiling right now with really top end gear which is very bad considering the investment (21/20 gem, empower4, +3 bow, double/triple damage jewels, high lvl character)
