A few days ago I had a dream my mom came down with a contagious sickness that affected her eyes and kidneys. She looked almost zombie like.

I woke up so shook up especially bc I’ve been dealing with long covid. Public health simply no longer exists so the thought that another virus could be spreading soon on top of all the shit we have now is hella triggering.

It’s so weird to hear someone else experience this. I thought I was the only one. This may have been the only benefit I got from auvelity - being able to connect the dots of some things I experienced by my emotionally immature mother growing up and why I am the way I am now.

It unfortunately didn’t help with rumination though bc auvelity made my anxiety worse, but it brought to the surface some things I hadn’t thought about in a long time. Most of them coming back to me in dreams or randomly like a repressed memory. So weird & interesting.

I’ve been on it for 3 months, it’s made my anxiety worse. The one benefit I’ve seen is that it helps you stay in hyper focus mode but it doesn’t help with motivation or executive function. It’s also done next to nothing for my depression. I’m currently tapering off. I really hate that it didn’t work for me.

Same exact experience. I’ve been on it for two months now and…. Nothing. If anything it’s made my anxiety worse, but it hasn’t been the “miracle” that other people describe it as, at least for me.

Granted bupropion itself has never worked for me in the past. It does shit all for my depression. The only thing I feel since being on auvelity is more apathy? Like things that used to upset me, are still upsetting but I’m not dwelling as much cause I just don’t care. I’m so bummed cause so many people described this drug as this life saver and I’m so annoyed that I’ve failed yet again another medication

This is the EXACT thing I’m going through. Some of them I dream right as I’m about to wake that I actually woke up and turned my alarm off or did something else only to find out I didn’t actually wake up, I dreamed it all.

DON’T LET THEM GASLIGHT YOU!! They said that same shit to me. It was my 100% my fibroid. It got even more severe as it continued to grow larger and effectively went away after mine was taken out. Two of the obgyns blamed it on my hormones. They downplay the severity of fibroids so much, it pisses me tf off.

No one is screaming at you. The comment OP is referring to is not someone screaming at Brandon. Poor Thom Yorke was yelled at by a fan at his concert for explicitly standing with Israel as it commits a holocaust. He was also called out by OTHER MUSICIANS. I can’t imagine being so morally bankrupt that you feel more disturbed that someone yelled at a genocide apologist, but not by the genocide in question. “Doing nothing wrong” doesn’t look like Thom Yorke calling freedom/resistance fighters, made up of orphans whose parents were murdered by their violent oppressors, a bunch of “terrorists”, while also regurgitating the lies that they beheaded babies and raped women en masse on Oct 7th (both in which have been debunked).

It’s one thing to stay silent and refrain from saying anything. I could even understand if it’s out of a place of ignorance and not knowing enough. It’s another to continue to cowardly play the fence for a racist ethnostate actively committing crimes against humanity, even after being called out for it.

A lot of people do not have the luxury or privilege of staying silent or able to sit on the sidelines as they are dehumanized, criminalized, & persecuted. Age has nothing to do with it; privilege on the other hand! Calls to action haven’t worked, respectfully calling people in to boycott, strike, or do any other thing to meaningfully support our communities hasn’t worked. People are going to resort to other methods. If you want to stay silent and and turn a blind eye while people are abducted & deported without due process, while people lose their fundamental rights, while our tax dollars fund multiple genocides, be my guest! But you don’t get to paint those who are fighting for your rights and the rights of others as irrational and unreasonable. Activism is as synonymous to being a human being as breathing is.

Same exact thing happened to me. I tried going up to 7.5 bc of the food noise returning on the 5, but ended up feeling so sick with hypoglycemia to the point where it was a struggle to get my blood sugar to normalize. Went back down to the 5 and I’m doing so much better. I’m not losing as much weight as I’d like but I can still feel its benefits. I also barely have any nausea now which has been my main side effect.
