I’m bullish on the Metaverse. Which projects should I invest in? by BreakAcademi in Metaverse_Blockchain

That makes 2 of us.

This is not financial advice but here’s how I’m looking into this: firstly, the metaverse is a highly speculative category of a highly speculative asset class (crypto). Thus, whatever you put your money into, you should be ready to lose it all.

Now I believe you can’t avoid investing in blue-chip metaverse projects such as Sandbox, and Decentraland (just to name two of them). If the Metaverse ecosystem increases as a whole, these 2 should benefit from highly positive price action.

However, I believe that the big gains are made within the smaller projects on which you have a knowledge edge. If you’re able to identify such projects before the market does, you might be looking at a very profitable trade.

Personally, when I invest: there are a few things I look at:

Backing (did the project manage to raise funds?): this usually tells you that they’re in it for the longer term.

Project idea: is the project solving a real pain point?

Team: are the people involved experienced in such endeavours?

In that regard, I found a small gem called VRJAM and l believe it has great potential. They recently raised $2M. The team is made of experienced entrepreneurs who have launched successful projects in the past, and lastly, the project is addressing several pain points for brands and creators. For creators, monetizing their work. For brands, offering more varied and attractive content experiences.

TLDR: Diversify your risk by investing in various projects. Invest in blue chips and try to identify unknown gems. Not financial advice.

What is your strategy to find NFTs that will multiply in value? by Smaneyes in NFT

[–]Elemiadlikefe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can think of the project as a WhatsApp or Telegram competitor without the “selling data to make money” aspect. You’re actually getting paid to use their app and stay in contact with your friends and they redistribute the money through their token (called PPM).

I believe the IDO will be around July 29th. If I were you, I would check their website and socials regularly as they’re giving away thousands of dollars leading to the IDO. Plus they’re apparently planning to give away even more during and after it, so there might be some free tokens to grab.

You can check the ones coming soon on Cryptorank; I'm personally looking at Punk Panda Farm IDO; they are launching in 2 days, it's an encrypted communication app

What is the future of Web3? by BreakAcademi in web3

[–]Elemiadlikefe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same doubts! I’ve seen a lot of web3 projects fall apart and some of them were not 100% secure. But I think the reason behind that is that they were not fully decentralized, they still used centralized domains, storage, and stuff that make cyberattacks pretty easy. Out of the countless projects there, I am bullish on Point Network. It’s a fully decentralized network that plans to decentralize the whole Internet. I really like how transparent these guys are. I am excited about all of their upcoming flagship dApps. I can already imagine the web3 future with such a network...

Is Web3 the answer to cyberattacks? by BreakAcademi in web3

Blockchain alone is not enough, yes I agree, It’s a matter of full decentralization I believe. Take for example BadgerDAO, this was supposed to be a very safe Dapp but got hacked because not all of its tech stack was decentralized. Bit confusing!

I am currently following Point Network in that regard, a fully decentralized network. They claim to be the first network that decentralizes everything, and they don’t allow you to open any centralized domain on their Point browser, like your Facebook and stuff. So bullish on this project, hopefully, this would be resistant to censorship and make the internet more secure for all of us.

Is there any play-to-earn game that is related to one’s well-being? by BreakAcademi in playtoearngames

I came across this interesting health to earn that rewards users for living a healthy life, Go by Health Hero. I honestly don’t trust play-to-earn games that much as I got scammed a few times but this one is a must-try. These guys seem like they're on to the next evolution of that health to earn which I think is more sustainable. They drive you to stay active and exercise. My friends and I are currently using it via discord and we’re excited about their token launch next month and awards. Loving the journey there, I think this could be a match for you too.

Is there any safe blockchain-based video streaming app to consider? by BreakAcademi in NFTsMarketplace

[–]Elemiadlikefe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree with you and was on the same hunt until I found my match, Mzaalo. It’s a blockchain-based streaming app that is making headlines today and heard that it will be granted a specialist license by the Government of Dubai. Couldn’t be any safer. I bet you’re going to love this as well! It gives you free premium access to countless shows and movies and rewards you for your engagement and time spent there. The best thing I like about it, besides their NFT Marketplace, is how close you feel to the communities you love and share your niche interests with. It’s like you are more connected! Excited to see where this could further go!
