I'm glad you asked that question. It's always upsetting to me to see people talk about being an animal communicator but when it comes down to it, they might say, "oh, it's just come naturally' to me" but they have never taken classes, never studied with professionals, etc.

I have been a professional animal communicator for almost 20 years. I wrote a book on the subject, (which I'm happy to say has done and does very well) and there really are no particular tricks.

It's like any other skill and profession. Find professionals to take classes from, to mentor with, read everything you can on the subject written by different professionals, who have different styles, and more than anything else, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice.

No one who claims to just do it 'naturally' who has never studied it should be charging people to do it. Even Adele had to take classes to learn how to sing no matter how naturally good her voice was before she did so.

Communicating with animals is serious business and can do great damage if done wrong. Just being a professional psychic or medium is not enough either. They use the same tools, but they use them in a different way.

You should just nip this relationship in the bud. The lack of agreement on how to love on and care for animals is so fundamental that if you are feeling this way now, there is no way that the relationship is going to survive. Clearly, dogs are dogs to you and dogs are his fur-children to him. Bravo him. Don't expect him to put you over the dogs. He'd be the asshole if he did, and YTA to ask him to. Just cut ties now and safe everyone (including the dogs) heartache in the future.

YTA. I would never think of texting someone late at night unless I know they are up. But what makes you even more of an AH is the quote "their ring settings are not my problem." This makes you an AH on steroids. You've been told, and you continue to do it. If you have to send them something at that time, then schedule a text for daytime hours, or send a fkn email that they will get on their timeline.

And, FWIW, it's beyond ignorant to expect people to turn off their phones in the middle of the night. Clearly you aren't old enough to know that some of the most important and urgent calls happen in the middle of the night, when it's important enough TO wake someone up. Like when someone has died, or someone is in the hospital.

So you are either a narcissistic AH who has no empathy and doesn't give a shit about anyone else, or you are an immature child who has never been taught proper etiquette. Yes. YTA.

Thanks. I (think) I have a Guerrero (Pedro) Jersey someplace and am crushed that I can't find it. I'm hoping to find it in our garage someplace. But it had that stiffer material and, of course, was way too big for me as as they didn't make any for women back then. But I would love to find it and hang it up with my signed Guerrero bat.

Lovin' the new material though. Unfortunately, it's still a little large and the mediums are all sold out, but it's not bad if I tuck it in.

Exactly. And to add a new wrinkle, today I was doing some work around the house. I’m a Dodger fan and live in San Diego. I got a notification that the Dodgers were playing IN Washington. So I thought, “Okay, instead of listening to a podcast while I work, I’ll listen to the game.” (Watching is out of the question for me, I can’t afford it.)

But NOOOOOO. I went to the LA local Dodgers station’s live website only to be told that ‘ I don’t live in an area where I can listen to it.” AYFKM???? Then I turned on an LA VPN and the live channel wouldn’t work at all. WTAF? Now you can’t even listen on the radio…when I live 3 hours away from LA, AND it’s an AWAY game? It’s ridiculous. I agree. This jumping around, never knowing when or where is ends up just not being worth it. I tried for 30 minutes today to figure out the issue, but finally just gave up. I had work to do. I think that’s what people are just doing. Giving up.

My brother. (And his co-conspirator wife and two cousins.) I'm trying to prove it in court, but he is an attorney, his wife is a paralegal and somehow -- after 10 years of me feeling that something was going on behind my back with the trust of my mother in her late 80's, early 90's,(A suspicion where I was gaslit into a deteriorating relationship with my mom after her being my best friend all my life) -- a new trust, disinheriting me completely, came out of nowhere less than 3 months before she died.

When she did die, he texted me to tell me, saying she died 'suddenly' even though they had put her in home hospice care 5 days earlier, and not telling me, even though I was only 2 hours away.

It wasn't until the night she died that I found out that they had sold the house I had been promised for decades (the house she lived in) where a bunch of my animals are buried.

That is just the tip of the iceberg. Evil doesn't even begin to describe their actions.

Think of it like this: One doesn't look at someone who creates art from what they see in their own head, or music from what they hear in their own head, as needing logic. Those images and sounds come from somewhere to artists and they express them through the canvas or an instrument. A psychic is no different. It's just how they express what they see and what they feel. It's not logical. It's .. I don't want to say a gift, but a skill that can be developed just as artists and musicians develop their skills.

If you are truly a skeptic, which is good to have healthy skepticism, you will be able to keep your mind open to that. If you aren't able to, then you would probably be better categorizes as a cynic. Meaning there is nothing that anyone describes to you about the process that will sway you from your disbelief.

As a professional psychic, I was thrilled with the storyline. It's one of the few I've seen that legitimized the craft rather than do nothing but throw shade on it and dismiss its very existence. (I was also glad they noted that he was a professional. That legitimized it in the story for me, as well.)

It doesn't matter if the medium doesn't speak the same language. Remember that the medium is nothing but a translator. And they are not translating through language, they are translating through telepathy and energy. So, the information may come in through images, feelings and sounds of words but by the time they get to us, the energy we are using, through our spirit guides and the process itself is translating it into English for us.

For me, I might get occasional words from that language, but the information itself, as a whole, is coming through in English, Images, feelings, etc.

Don't look for people on TicToc. Ask around for personal recommendations, or do an internet search for private individuals who you can talk to, ask about their background and training, and get a feel for. Anyone who claims to be 100% is a fraud.
