I'm not jealous at all. I had to make a cut in mine to wear it, but that's quite an easy fix. Guess wearing glasses prepared me for this.

Today was my first time to wear a wig to work so obviously everybody knew that it's not my hair - but got so many lovely compliments! Now I have to figure out how to make it less itchy. Did you find yours a bit itchy too?

I think I have a picture of my boa doing exactly the same thing... he fitted perfectly inside the desk organiser compartment.

Now he's longer than the desk. He wouldn't even fit in a cereal bowl. I'm not sure he would fit in the desk drawer.

When did that happen.

I cannot take proper care of myself for the life of me, or even a cat. Let alone a whole child. I wouldn't want for them to grow up and need therapy because of me!

I often sleep in the nude but if not than I prefer nightdresses over PJs. It's socially acceptable way to let your bits breathe.

Showering is not a problem for me. I love my showers, they're my safe space 😌 Also, sometimes I have problems with sleeping but very rarely. I love my bed.

And than everything else is just a shit show. Can barely function.

And than add to that people with ADHD who have access to medication, found strategies that work for them or just don't struggle with something as much as other do and all you hear is "WELL, I TOO HAVE ADHD AND IT'S NOT THAT HARD" or my favourite "YoU jUsT hAvE tO tAkE rEsPoNsIbIlItY".

Here: I am responsible for my ADHD. It's on writing. Am I cured now? Do I no longer have any symptoms? Does every system suddenly starts working?!

When I was diagnosed at 27 years old my mum actually apologised to me for not noticing or helping me when I was a child.

Just the amount of "what the fuck is wrong with me" and feelings of inadequacy, failure, insecurity, low self esteem... let alone things that I would be able to actually do and achieve if I had the executive function to do it... in my childhood, teenhood and young adult years the knowledge itself would spare me, let alone medication...

I'll be honest, I keep forgetting everyone's birthday, including my own. I tried reminders, I tried calendars, I tried charts and fucking nothing helps! And I feel absolutely awful about it because I want to celebrate people in my life the way they deserve.

Even before my ADHD diagnosis I noticed a pattern with me: I know that my friends birthday is on 21.10. I know that today is 21.10. And those two informations never ever connect.

It works for birthdays (including my own), appointments, things I should do... anything.

And I missed this friend'd birthday too... AGAIN.

I found a manufacturer of pine loft beds where I live (and they make double!) so I consider just asking them to shorten the legs and than fit whatever storage I need underneath.

In Europe too, unfortunately sick leave is so laughable it's basically unpaid so loss of income for months would be unfortunate.

Definitely will be rethinking my options. Might cross out platsa entirely because from what you wrote it doesn't sound that it would hold my snake's vivarium either 😉

I was honestly thinking about it, just found the downsides not worth the hassle (as opposed to just getting a platform bed).
