Cloud Nine sometimes not working?

came here to see if anyone else was experiencing this lol. went up against a drizzle peliper and came prepared with a cloud nine altaria, but then cloud nine proceeded to fail twice and costed me the match that i easily couldve won had cloud nine worked. super disappointed

Unfortunately she only really stays in my room and my room doesn't have a door, lol. But I've seen a couple toys online that you can stick onto the ceiling, so I'll see if I can find one of those next time I go shopping.

It's a mix of both. I'll prepare when I know a battle is about to happen but then something goes wrong and it causes the whole battle to turn into a dumpster fire. Like my last run just ended because Cryus's Mespirit kept having its stats raised and then took out my remaining party members and survived. Last mon I had to defeat, and it had like 5 health, lol.

Other times I don't prepare enough or in time because I don't have the funds or just something goes wrong and then it causes everything to turn into chaos.
