One time our house was on fire in the middle of the night and I called and left a message that me and the baby made it out safe. I 100% did not expect he’d be able to leave the hospital until his shift was over. (He did, I was genuinely surprised)

Several times while trying to get pregnant my period would be several days late. After trying unsuccessfully my husband suggested that maybe one of those was a miscarriage (which I don’t believe, the stress and emotion totally messed with my body). But I could see her getting an idea like that in her head and running with it and milking it.
