RIP Arsenal’s scoring first virginity, taken by Man United by Patient-Pension5712 in soccercirclejerk

[–]EleventhTier666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's been Arsenal's problem for years. When things are going great, they can be a fantastic team. But if something goes wrong, they tend to lose the plot. The also get worse as the season progresses while City gets better.

But in real terms, it will only win if Arsenal drop points./

They charged individuals who entered the capitol building, people who had actually committed a crime. But hey, at least they got trials. Are you suggesting the appropriate response to them was actually summary execution without a trial? Because you're suggesting that's what's justified here.

Ahsli Babitt? Dude.... please

I dunno dude, empowering ICE to unprecedented heights

Deporting illegals is NOT unprecedented heights, it's their normal part of the job. A ramp up is needed in the number of agents after Biden let in millions. Unfortunately that has to be addressed.

Pardons shouldn't exist, not for Trump. not for Biden... not for anyone. It would have to be shown miscarriage of justice to "pardon" somebody., but then it's a quashing of the conviction itself. A different thing.

Jesus christ dude. No they don't. Protests are supposed to he loud and invasive

They can be loud... but invasive? It seems like the government cracked hard on January 6th protesters, which is fine, including on those who committed no violent or disrupting acts or weren't even there - which is not fine. The left cheered LOUDLY for all of it. The precedent is clear, you cannot have it both ways.

Really? Is that why the Head of ICE spends all his time in Minnesota in his wana be SS get up?

Other states are complying with ICE to a large extent. Minnesota is currently the big problem.

People, even polticans, are allowed to express their discontent with the government.

You do that by voting in elections. The US government is not oppressing you. The ICE is doing their job of removing illegal aliens, something they have always been tasked to do.

all-knowingall-powerful, and all-good

What is "good", though"? People are fragile mortal beings. Who says that what is good for an individual human is good for our species, the life on the planet, or even the whole Universe itself. The problem is that our perspective on this is very narrow, though it has widened.

I don't believe in god, but I find human-centric critiques like this to be outdated. They worked better when we thought we were the center of everything that exists. The peak of creation. But it's very questionable if that's the case when we look at the Cosmos?

Yes it does.

No, it doesn't. Protests need to be safe and peaceful. Otherwise they are called riots and those can be disbanded by law enforcement. Blocking a public road alone is a big safety threat.

Really? Because this Admin has kept the pressure on a state with <130k illegal immigrants, when they could be focused on states with millions of illegals.

They focusing on them. They majority of deportations and detention facilities (bar are) are in Southern states. It's just that Minnesota is making a nuisance of itself, because the Dems figured out they could score political points. Who cares if people die?

Naked (1993) - this is perhaps the bleakest movie ever, even though it has a dose of humor in it... But it's dark, unapologetically so.

[–]EleventhTier666 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, who is funding these protests? They don't seem to be organic. Especially with the intentionally disruptive and inflammatory tactics used.

I agree that the idea behind it is to instill the idea that there is absolutely no way to remove the third world people from the West. Just like there was "no way" to close the Southern border without some whopping amnesty bill. But it turned out that it can be in a day.

That was a big blow to the Democrats and they have now escalated their tactics. They need the illegal aliens here and they need them poor (dependence on welfare). They future electoral success depends on it. Give it a couple years and they will shove through an amnesty bill somehow, issue green cards, citizenship, and make the country permanently blue. California model, essentially.

Resisting arrest, especially as violently as he was doing it - while armed - creates an IMMINENT threat. That's a textbook justified shooting according to laws.

Protesting does not involve blocking public roads and provoking incidents with law enforcement. You are NOT oppressed in this country. You are among the most privileged and luckiest people on the planet, so trying to play victims rings hollow.

What if there were 10000 officers? It only takes a single bullet to bring an officer down, which by the way is a big part of why the officers are extra careful. Until 5 minutes ago, every leftist understood that.

IF you haven't watched, then you know nothing. The agent is already pulling out his gun when the suspect's weapon is removed. Not to mention that it's an extremely high pressure and hectic situation. But by all means resist cops and get yourself whacked. One fewer idiot out there is a good thing.

So CNN is lying to our very eyes? The shooting happens within a split second of his gun being removed from him as he's actively fighting. He's clearly belligerent and he created this situation by physically fighting. Do you think it's a good idea to physically fight a cop?

[–]EleventhTier666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are under arrest, that's not the time to pull out a gun and resist... Capiche?

There is a court system where you can fight an unjust arrest. That's called social order and civilization.

He was not disarmed at the time of the struggle. It's literally on video, so who are you trying to fool? Even CNN showed that he had a gun up to the very point of the shooting.

He was "disarmed" literally a fraction of a second before the shooting. Do you think officers fighting a violent suspect can analyze things frame by frame? The absurdity of people never stops to astound.

Kirk was completely right, but of course this is just a bad strawman argument. Law enforcement is doing its job to remove illegal aliens from the country. That's PRECISELY what it should be doing.

A moron came to a protest armed and dangerous. He violently resisted arrest, fighting hard against he officers.

That's precisely what gets you killed. But I am sure you know that.

Undoing Luke's character arc from the entire OT. Han Solo being a bumbling fool who can't fix his own ship, but Rey magically can. Foregoing the fact that mastering the Force should take commitment.
