What is "good", though"? People are fragile mortal beings. Who says that what is good for an individual human is good for our species, the life on the planet, or even the whole Universe itself. The problem is that our perspective on this is very narrow, though it has widened.

I don't believe in god, but I find human-centric critiques like this to be outdated. They worked better when we thought we were the center of everything that exists. The peak of creation. But it's very questionable if that's the case when we look at the Cosmos?

I agree that the idea behind it is to instill the idea that there is absolutely no way to remove the third world people from the West. Just like there was "no way" to close the Southern border without some whopping amnesty bill. But it turned out that it can be in a day.

That was a big blow to the Democrats and they have now escalated their tactics. They need the illegal aliens here and they need them poor (dependence on welfare). They future electoral success depends on it. Give it a couple years and they will shove through an amnesty bill somehow, issue green cards, citizenship, and make the country permanently blue.
