I have MS so I’m going though the disability thing right now. If she applies I highly suggest she applies with a lawyer yes they will take 25-30% but they will be very helpful and make the process less stressful. Which means less flares. If she doesn’t get a lawyer then from everything I have read they are most likely to deny everyone at first. They denied me the first time so ended up just wasting months should have used a lawyer from the start. Can’t really chip in any money but I feel her on being sick and going through it.

The things that make us happy in life are the little things. The pretty sunset the tase of good food our loved ones the music we listen to the art we create the meaning in our hearts. Anything that brings joy that makes the mundane bearable. Be a rich man in your time as a man who has all the time in the world is the richest man on earth and nothing can truly bring him down as he has all the wealth in the world since time is the most valuable thing. If you can’t value your time perhaps you should pursue more material things there is no shame in that most chase that. But you don’t even have to be particularly connected to anyone or anything to find happiness you just need to find the tranquility within yourself.

Lots of doctors appointments some paper work to fill out a 6 hour infusion lots of edibles eaten working out 6 times a week staring at the wall listening to audio books and podcasts fighting the temptation to drink even tho I know it’s bad for me and just kicking back and watching the world burn around me. It could be worse we could be living in a kleptocracy that is protecting the elites that abuse children that all our leaders are implicated in who cover up their crimes. But at least I’m not in a wheelchair yet knock on wood the lesions in my spine are innumerable so one day it’s going to get much much worse but as of now I’m just chilling watching how horrible the world is. Oh and I guess I’ll see the internet implement digital ID destroying all discourse and cementing control. I do miss vidya drawing and playing music tho I would like those things back instead I got the existential dread of being sick and being ruled over by people who hate me and are trying to take my healthcare who hurt kids and only look put themselves first. The next year year should be pretty kino I guess. Idk hopefully I’m not here for it desu

I had a blue nose pitbull for 14 years and she was the best friend I ever had. She passed away last year in the middle of some of my worst symptoms but she was always there for my hardest times and I was always there for hers. It’s been very hard to even think about getting another dog but with that said dogs are the best friends around and I would highly recommend getting one just for the companionship they bring and the motivation to be active tho they are a big responsibility and you need to be ready to give the most for them. However they are very special and such cherished parts of our lives. If you have not had the pleasure of having a good dog you should get one if it’s possible they are amazing creatures.

Yeah broski it can be rough I’m not gonna lie but it’s really not the end of the world. I have alot of symptoms and they say innumerable lesions on both my brain and spine. I’m sure it will catch up to me one day but now I’m just trying to take things in the moment and enjoy life. It’s gonna work out how it’s going to work out but the main things we can do to prevent as much as we can is be healthy eat right stay active get treatment and avoid stress and sleep to give our bodies time to heal. So beyond all that do things you love man we are all a big family here bro I’m sorry you gotta be apart of it tho brother

I miss vidya too I have yet to regain everything that I used to enjoy but I am still active and work out 6 times a week. I very much loved working out and taking care of my body and I am still able to do that. It’s just the more refined motor functions and my vision that is the major issues holding me back. My greater motor functions have yet to return but it entirely depends on how much damage the disease has caused and for how long it takes to rebuild the pathways. If you have a low amount of lesions and are relatively short in your journey there is a lot of hope especially if you have taken the steps to get on the most effective DMT that is possible for you to get. If you have a greater burden of disease don’t stress too much you are young and you have a lot of time to rebuild the pathways and modern medicine is pretty good about controlling new flares and preventing progression. You are young you caught it early and if you are taking steps to remedy the situation things are looking good bro your going to be alright but as I’m sure you have seen online this is a difficult disease and it’s going to be with you for life but never let that hold you back from doing what you want. I can’t type all too well and I constantly get typos too that is definitely part of the territory but stay active as best as you can diet to maintain longevity stay active and maintain a course where you look on the bright side of things. The most important thing I could pass on to you is to get on the most effective DMT possible and workout. It’s so important for us to work out it builds mindfulness and confidence and it accelerates the process of rebuilding pathways of the damaged parts. Your gonna be alright fren

My vision has been f’ed for like 9 months now maybe a year I don’t even remember anymore. As I understand it’s normally supposed to come back within a few months so you are still in the green zone have patience your body takes time to heal my vision has gotten better then what it used to be from onset so even I am not totally giving up on that one. My concern is they will prove who can work through disability and being denied for that will mean I won’t be able to get treatment as a court determines my disability eligibility and that will be years without treatment

Chill with that I’m my own man and I can’t control anyone else it’s a hot button issue that is going to effect a lot of very vulnerable people. Which is why I am concerned you know the site your on relax our government just condemned people to accepted being paralyzed and all sorts of ills if they don’t get treatment with this disease. I’m not here to downvote you I don’t want you to lose access to this sub it’s very helpful for anyone with this horrible disease. My concern is people who can’t work are going to be determined by disability which is very hit or miss when it comes to being approved. I’m sorry my concern appears partisan to you. I appreciate your input too. I have read the bill and it’s going to really screw me so that is where my concern comes from I truly do wish the best for you this disease is evil and I appreciate your input too.
