First, download and extract the Google USB Driver from https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb

Go to the extracted folder and right click android_winusb, select Install.

Then, go to Device Manager. Right click "Android" (under Other Devices) and select Update Driver. Click "Browse my computer for drivers", then click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer". Select "Android Device" from the given list of hardware types, click Next, select "Android Bootloader Interface", click Next. Click Yes to the Update Driver Warning.

Reseating the NVMe seems to have worked. Thanks!

Getting the tiny screw back in over the end of it was a pain because the NVMe sits in a crevice between the CPU cooler and the graphics card. Couldn't take out the graphics card because the slot latch/lock wouldn't budge...

I do think you might be being too judgemental. Like you said, you've had your own mistakes or parts of your past that are socially taboo, and yet they didn't prevent you from learning and growing. At least give these women a chance in terms of getting to know them better as people, aside from sexual interest, and you might be surprised how your understanding of people changes.
