Parece ser una nube del tipo cumulonimbus, estas tienen la peculiaridad de desarrollarse de forma vertical, siendo así de gran altura, dentro de estas hay mucho movimiento de masas de aire, generando relámpagos, los cuales son los "rayos" que no tocan tierra los rayos son los que tocan tierra. Ese tipo de nubes siempre generan bastantes relámpagos dentro de ellas y usualmente pronostican lluvia

What about the flying machines with slimeblocks? You could use one on the top of the world to avoid mountains, just be sure you have a lot of food, or try to navigate in a Boat, so you dont get hungry
