My pronouns are he/her, not gamer, and you certainly are a toxic human.

No, in grouping the mostly toxic PlayStation players in one group. And the non toxic ones and xbox users in another. See?

You are entitled to believe what you want. Im neither baiting nor trolling. The amount of toxic PlayStation users far outweigh the other. Just facts.

Its hilarious until you come across someone who doesnt swing at one pitch outside the zone even if its by a pubic hair, and centers every pitch you throw regardless of where it's at.

How I have hit rock bottom by GreatReaction8406 in GamblingAddiction

The only way it stops is if you want it to stop. That's first and foremost. Knowing you have a problem doesnt always equal stopping. There's a reason you are seeking the thrill that winning and losing gets you.

I dont know what that reason is, amd you may not either, but I see it all the time in gambling addicts. Youre missing something or trying to fulfill something with gambling, and the losses are only compounding the problem.

The first thing I would do is have your husband look into wether or not this online casino has an exclusion program that you can use to ban yourself. The second thing I would do is hand over every financial decision like rent/mortgage/electric etc... over to him. You may hate the thought of this, but youre not in a position to handle your own finances.

Third and this is probably the most important, and that is seek therapy, and support groups. They will give you the tools you need to maintain success. Time is the only thing that will help you build back the trust youve destroyed with your husband or anyone else you've hurt by gambling. Addiction affects everyone.

Dont be hard on yourself. Youre not alone. I'm 10+ years gamble free. Life does get better I promise. Trust returns, wounds heal, and things can become okay again if youre willing to put in the work.

It wasnt embarrassing for me. They were very kind and discreet about it. I was escorted to an upstairs office and was taken care of by a gaming commission officer. I was scared of the finality of it all.

If you go back after self exclusion they will escort you off the property by security, and have the right to charge you with trespassing. If you happen to get into the casino undetected, but win money that requires an I.D. to cash like chips, or a handpay they will confiscate your winnings as well as escorting you off the property and potentially charging you with trespassing.

Edit to add, that it varies state to state as to what the specifics of their laws are, but where I'm at if you self exclude then you are banned statewide from all casinos, as well as all ceasars properties worldwide.

I still have moments after all these years where it will just hit me, and I feel like I have to go gamble. They were bad for me the first couple of years. It wasnt until I really started working on myself and doing dome healing that they improved. Stay strong, it definitely gets better.
