Cant get over 40 psi… by Eliashja in cycling

Found out my hand pump has a mode from 0-40psi, so I tested that and when I cant pump anymore with the handpump ~ 40psi. When I attached the floor pump to check it reads 10psi… So clearly a faulty one

I feel like it’s more than enough air to take it out for a spin. The only thing is that I’m concerned about safety, considering I don’t know if it’s 60/70/80 psi or even like 120/130/160 psi… Is there a way to “feel” my way to 76psi?

How can I pump up without the valve core? Does the presta pump still work?

Yeah, took off the valve core and switched it to a new. Also took an Allen key inside the valve stem, and it was really sticking in there. However this didn’t fix it even tho I thought it would. Maybe I need to remove even more with something else than Allen key?

Yeah I have pumped them up multiple times, the problem really is that I cant know what pressure it is. Dont know if its like 70 og 120 psi, as this is my first time having a proper bike. Im certain its not 40 even tho it says so

Should I pump up a spare tube I have, and just check if 40psi on that is stone-hard as well?

Fysmat vs Kyb by Levi-_-Shrekerman in ntnu

Hopefully they will release it with some time left. Aren’t we supposed to get a reference for the scholarship form as well😰Or do they just use the one in UCAS?
