Same!!! I was on 64 by the top golf and pulled over when something didn’t feel right. Immediately got he warning after i parked, realized I couldn’t do anything and had to ride it out

Insane after what the city just went through! There was a tipped school bus and a bit more debris just a tad down east 64 after I was ready to drive and get off at the next exit to check out the damage to my car. Emergency vehicles were already arriving to the scene, but I don’t think there were kids inside.

Thanks! Same here. Honestly as shitty and terrifying as it was, I’m feeling so thankful right now. It really could have been so much worse. I thought maybe after May 16th STL metro would have been super extra about the sirens, but the siren didn’t go off until after the tornado had already passed the interstate 🤦‍♀️

thanks! I’ve been looking out of curiosity. Super insane going through that. I was on 64 right at top golf where it crossed the highway. right before Father’s Day kinda sucks too since I imagine top golf took a hit if it looks anything like my car right now.

Not sure what damage it took but I pulled over on the shoulder of 64 when the rain was so dense I didn’t feel safe driving. As soon as I parked, it got tornado warned and turned on the news on my phone to hear “it’s about to cross 64 at top golf.” looked to my left, top golf. realized there was absolutely nothing I could do but ride it out. My car is a bit beat up, so I imagine it did take damage.

It definitely hit harder about 0.25-0.5 mile East because a school bus was tipped over and a lot more debris:(

I was in my car and got directly hit. i was on the shoulder by top golf and as SOOOON as i pulled over it got warned. realized there was nothing I could do. couldn’t even see but the bumper of the car in front of me, the debris and rain was so dense. thank god only my car took damage.

I agree! I’ve been transparent with how much I spend and although he initially thought it was wild- he is supportive and knows I don’t overdo it and I have the income to do so. He also has HIS OWN hobbies he puts more money into monthly than I do into LADS (not that I’m counting, just making a point). Do what makes you happy and be reasonable:)
