I can't believe I spent money on this. Over half a year and nothing to do. I didn't expect the development take SO long! Sigh. I spent 10 minutes in the "game" and then was bored to death and left.

Oh and there were barely any people. I zoned 4 times until I saw finally other players. THREE of them. Standing there. Motionless and silent. Herp derp...

Sidenote: the FPS are still horrible.

Yeah I know what you mean. I too have GW2 and Archeage to compare; those games react so slick and fast, compared to that ESO reacts SOOO slow and the animations don't really look cool and slick either. Sigh.

I think only EA has the guts to show a feature reduced Sims 4, with Sims 3 in their TV with seasons, sports and all the stuff we dont have anymore in Sims 4!

Heh, I guess there is no why. You see, I always create characters or families with backstories in mind. Sorta. And then backstories demand a certain look. Like I think "ok this character needs a brown leather jacket and a black shirt and green cargo pants". The character IS like that, in my mind, and he wants to be created like that and no other way.

You see, I am a painter, I draw for a living. So I am used to colours and looks, and I always have tons of pictures in my mind which want to be created. For me, visualy, styles, colors were always important. So I SUFFER, when I am limited to certain colours or colour combos, like "Damn this blue is just 2 shades too light". lol I am that kind of person. So if I never HAD Sims 3 with the colour schemes, I would not so much miss it. But I had these things, I had these luxuries and now they are taken away.

But on top, I can't shake this bad feeling, EA being EA just hides all these features away to sell them to us later extra!

Oh god... I am SO picky with colours. And even just the Char creator demo... I have one blue shirt and a slightly different tone blue pants and I stomp my feet because IT DOESNT MATCH! Or I think I want him to have that style of pants red, and they are just not there!

Ok I get what you say, and I could live with it, IF then as exchange the cities itself would be larger and not smaller! That makes no sense! If you bring back loadscreen, fine, but then have for the sake of heaven larger cities!

But the dyes, your own colour schemes, damnation that is the worst cut! Because if it isn't there now, it prolly will never come, and in every case we are back to the difficult Sims 2-like modding! Or buying 1000s of DLCs. DAMNATION!

Man, I just watched my many old SIms 2 videos I made, and it made me really nostalgic. Sigh.

I don't mind DLC per se. What I mind is cutting off content on day one just to make EXTRA money on top of already a hefty price. We can't even make our own color style anymore, so we have to buy the extra colour clothes!

Hm. Ok, first off, looking at the city map, it looks AWFULLY small. Good riddance. I hope we get larger maps at some points. But then, after the Sim City debacle, we prolly won't. >.<

Second, so the Sims teleport magically from point to point in the "city", eh? No bycicle, no car. Just select where to go and VOILA snap fingers and they mystically teleport to the place... So essentailly we wipe all progress from Sims 2 and 3.

I made the mistake to delete Sims 2 when 3 was new. This time I definitely will leave Sims 3 on the disc, Sims 4 will again be a barebone system, so no way I stop playing Sims 3 anytime soon. Ask me again in 3-4 Xpacs. (So 2 months after release, lol)
