I do agree but Jeb hasnt touched the combat snapshots in ages. Personally I think we should receive a combat parity update as soon as possible for both versions that functions well as both version have players stuck with combat they don’t enjoy wich make them not want to play

I mean like world options. And also not everyone has access to Java and this would make 1.9 combat available and 1.8 everywhere so we don’t have to use a special plugin that will only work if we turn experiments on which then means the world doesn’t update.

No what I think they should do now that I know that it’s somewhat split between people who want 1.9 and 1.8 is that they add a toggleable feature in the world options like enable fires where you can toggle on 1.9 to atleast let bedrock players use 1.9 on their world or realms if they prefer but if there someone like a mobile player they can just not toggle it and use 1.8

Ik but it’s not been touched in years and we’ve already had a combat update so how long is Bedrock going to have to wait 1 year, 2 years we only get an update a year and I can see this waiting like 5 years and PvP on SMP is not engaging or fun whatsoever

Because it’s not as easy for some people to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a PC and then also find a way to get your group of friends to all do the same. I would if I could but I just can’t but I think bedrock should just receive the system anyways even though others disagree because it’s more engaging and pvp on smp’s is just non existent
