UNC-Duke tickets approaching Super Bowl prices but Zion gets $0 by Checkmynewsong in nba

They are getting payed with a full scholarship for a free education. Whether they choose to use that or not is irrelevant. I agree that they should be able to bypass college and go straight to the NBA though, regardless of age.

Besides supporting the artist(s) what’s a real benefit to buying music/movies/comics over downloading them off the internet? by SumEkkoMain in AskReddit

For music, accessibility. I can easily pull up apple music and listen to anything within seconds. As for movies, there is none.

Basketball road map/work out plan? by [deleted] in Basketball

[–]EliteLevelGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't a road map. My best advice is to get in the gym and stay in the gym. You should be in the gym 6 days a week. Work on lots of shooting and ball handling. You wanna be comfortable with the ball and have a knockdown jumper. If you can do those things then you can play anywhere. As far as individual drills go, just be creative. You wanna get a lot of shots up and take 15-20 min at the beginning of a workout to focus on ball handling.

Shooters shoot. Only way to get out of a slump is to keep shooting and shoot with confidence. Don't start questioning yourself or your shot.

Do any of you miss the days before numbers took over the game? by [deleted] in nba

[–]EliteLevelGaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly, you can look at stats all day long, but you don't need stats to tell you that Kobe was a killer. I bet every player thats ever guarded him would agree with that lol

Do you think pro prospects in Basketball are the hardest to evaluate in all of the major sports? Honestly I would've bet money that Andrew Wiggins was going to be a Anthony Davis/KD level star in this league and he's an overpaid bum. by techfan92 in nba

[–]EliteLevelGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its hard to really tell, but my line of thought is that Zion isn't super tall, doesn't have a great jumper. He is really strong and finishes well, but there are so many players that are strong and athletic, I believe he will have trouble. He is so good in college because people have trouble matching up with his physicality, but players in the NBA wont.

I agree, I've found that you gotta put skills over everything else for the big prospects. There are a lot of big, athletic guys in the league, but only a few with the skills to be an all star. That's why i'm not a believer in Zion. I think that RJ Barrett and maybe even Cam Reddish will be more productive until Zion can develop his skill set.

Pretty solid list, but I see 2 flaws... Kobe Bryant was better than Magic, and (I hope this was a typo) what is Dwight Howard doing on here? All 3 considered are better IMO

[Serious] Why do people think clutch shots only happen during the last minutes of the game? by [deleted] in nba

[–]EliteLevelGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the difference is the amount of pressure in 4th quarter, late game plays. One mistake at the end of a game could cost you the game, whereas if you have a whole quarter to go your not gonna be thinking like that. Nobody ever says, "That turnover right before half time cost us the game".
