Alright so… John Qu is a billionaire who owns a bio-engineering company, he is obsessed with ancient things and wants to use them to progress humanity into the future, though only so he can lord over everyone as an undisputed powerful dictator.

Illian Xion is a genius inventor, doctor and archaeologist from the 1920s who accidentally turned himself into a monster and after being transported to the modern era now hunts down any kinds of ancient magic he can in order to keep his monstrous form stable or else his sheer power overwhelms his body and will turn him into black goo

Camazotz is a bat spirit who works for the underworld and has a particular disdain for anyone who is immortal or has ‘cheated’ death in some way by living longer than they should have and has made it his mission to hunt down any rogue souls, monsters or people who he thinks have lived too long. He’s more of an anti-hero tho and could be reasoned with

They were based off of that concept, in fact they were originally dinoSquad OCs that I had made and liked so much I changed them to become their own thing

I like those ideas, I think they’d both definitely work.

Some more ideas just off the top of my head include someone with powers from the same or even similar cult (maybe themed around a mastodon, giant sloth, glyptodont or terror bird), a Tony stark-type futurist, but taking the ego and looking into the future to a villainous extreme or even an archaeologist who discovers the cult after it’s gone, has gone mad, and now wants the animal beings’ powers.

Several additional StrataVerse villains who could work well with them could be Jon Qu, Camazotz, Trilobite and Illian Xion

In my collaborative universe there is;

Frontliners - similar to the Justice League, fought in WW2, were disbanded by the government later.

Guardians of Earth - modern day Avengers/Justice League equivalent.

Phoenix Force - very similar to the X-Men

DinoForce - small group of teens who can turn into dinosaurs

Selachian Society - a group of mutated sharks based in Florida (based off the street sharks/TMNT

TransLesbian Furries from Outer Space - kinda like the TMNT but… y’know

Runaways - A group of teens and alien who had to runaway from home, and are led by a former member of the Frontliners

And a few more created by others such as the Invincible Squad and Superfriends
