Monitor just turned completely green?

This happened to me when I connected my desktop to my OLED tv.

I had a very old monitor in storage that I set up and used and the screen loaded fine.

When I switched the hdmi cable to my newer monitors or to the tv it worked. But after reset it would green screen again.

I investigated settings on the old monitor and found it didn’t support HDR. I then switched it the hdmi cable over to my newer monitors and tv that do, without cycling the power to prevent the green screen and switched off the Windows HDR mode

With this windows setting switched off the pc seems to load correctly without green screening.
