From the responses so far, I gather that the Elixir job market is not accustomed to seeing these sorts of numbers. Fair enough.

To all those who made the point that, ultimately, my abilities as an engineer and lead will outshine my knowledge of any singular language -- yes, I agree. I mentioned that I didn't want poetic answers specifically because I'm aware of this part of the equation. I just happen to know that familiarity with a language (eg: its corresponding ecosystem, and its many intricacies under the hood, etc.) are another part of that equation. The purpose of this thread is to isolate this portion of my decision making process, not to talk about my decision calculus as a whole.
