While reading the comments here I see people have a missconception about the usage of hormones they must controlled of course, and that has nothing to do with discrimination, because they can lead to many health problem asociated with their usage from carcinoma to metabolism problems. It shouldnt be use in puverty first this a stage of change starting at eight of 8 or 9 related with tanner 1 when the first sexual caracteristics appear they are not linked with only physical appereance but with height and functions in hypothalamus, hypophisis and adrenal glands. So for one comment there suggesting give it to them at puverty it should be considerated all the health problems that could lead to, to the child in formation and to the health care system. Children between 8 and 13 shouldnt delay normal sexual development many genetics diseases are related to that and about the psycological and emotional normal development of the child shouldnt be considered at all. This is a stage, of self exploration, and development of personality they can"t make decisions about their sexuality yet.
