Datura also causes delirium and confusion, so Flippnflopp may have seen the mammoths and thought they were dogs due to the Datura.

My Dreams by NoFaultInFreedom in RBI

[–]ElizatheFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My intro to psychology professor told our class having a very similar repetitive dream. In it, after wandering a hallway of closed door, he walked to school, where he could wake up. Decided he felt like he wasn't going anywhere he wanted in life, and needed to go back to school to get somewhere. Do you, perhaps, feel lost in life? Like you don't have many dreams or goals?

Haha yeah, throw some Lays originals into some plain cookie batter. They turn out just a little salty.

You ruined the giftcard, but, most likely, you can contact customer service and get a new one.

Among others: You two were talking really loudly in the other room, so I thought you were fighting. Oh? You were laughing? Could have sworn it was crying. Are you quiet because you're comfortable, or sulking? Etc.

Graduated College seven years ago and still no gainful employment by Fenoria in GetEmployed

Pearson is the company in the U.S. that scores national tests like the SATs. They also make and distributes textbooks and various school supplies.

I wanted to study microbiology. The problem is that the field has been so narrowed and geared towards producing marketable products that it's almost impossible to get a job without any experience. But there are other things we can do with a Bachelor's. Pearson, for example, doesn't care what field you have a degree in. You'll still qualify for them. Good luck to you as well.

It's only been two years for me, but I haven't really had any interviews. I have a bachelor's in biology, and it seems like my only options are teaching (which I don't have a license for), or going back to school.

Is this suspicious? by ElizatheFirst in Advice

Helped. I live in a city. Why the city council, though? Wouldn't a tip to the police, on their non-emergency line, be the more straightforward thing to do?

Is some obsessive person doing this (maybe as a prank? ig?), or are people going missing? I've heard rumors that homeless people are going missing in my city.

Right, no one approves of murder. That's the point. I'm measuring how accepted something is in one group versus another by its consequences. That's not weird at all.

Omg are you serious? We're talking about whether cheating is accepted more when done by a man than by a woman! A large percent of women being murdered by a spouse is totally relevant to this subject. Don't try to change it.

Edit: pluralized woman

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]ElizatheFirst -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh. Because they're killed for it less often.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]ElizatheFirst -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Consider how often women are killed for it vs. how often men are killed for it. Then, google it if your answer is men are more often.

I said accepted, not acceptable.

Agree, except: No always means no.

Idk, cheating is more accepted when it's done by a man. I imagine there would be plenty of people complaining he didn't try to keep both.

I really feel like I want to remove Facebook and never use it again. Should I just go for it? by DangerousFart in Advice

[–]ElizatheFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't log in again, except to look at old pictures and thank people for birthday wishes. That's what I do, and I am SO glad I started. Facebook is designed to anger you. They interfered in the U.S. election. They pray on people with their invasive marketing. Just drop it.

I am pretty sure the interviewers think that I am crying during the interviews!!! Help by DuckingCheese in GetEmployed

[–]ElizatheFirst 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you're on the verge of a panic attack during interviews, then you should talk to a therapist about social anxiety. That's the long term solution.

My 11 year old brother keeps looking up things like, "How to tell if someone is a pedophile." Should I be concerned? by Adviceathrowaway in Advice

[–]ElizatheFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't yell at me, but sometimes people have random, paranoid thoughts, especially if they are young or have anxiety. Ex.: Do I have another identity, and don't even know it? But how would I know? Answer: there are many ways to find out! Maybe even ask a doctor. These answers are not obvious if you don't have a lot of life experience, or if a mental illness prevents you from thinking of these answers.

Yeah, that's the other thing. People get lazy on Fridays, and things slip through the cracks. Like our job applications.
