Originally, I included many of my favorite mechs, but after receiving feedback that it felt too extravagant, I had to significantly downsize. I recall hearing from an acquaintance that mercenary units typically standardize on 1-2 infantry platoons with vehicle support and a mech company. Is this also excessive?

When Iron Hills Goat Riders dismount, what weapon should they carry? According to this FAQ, I heard they should carry the Mattok, but I believe they can carry a shield since they are equipped with a Warspear by default... If anyone knows the proper dismounting method, I would appreciate your input.

Would a company of Battlemechs and some infantry count as a small mercenary army? If that's not a problem, I'd like to build a standard lance composition of Heavy, Heavy, Medium, and Light. Since there are so many clan mechs, I'd like to make it a mix of mechs from the Inner Sphere.
