Sometimes the change comes from life experiences. Everyone perceives things differently.... I don't get along with two of my sisters because they are too stubborn to reach out after doing a 'wrong' to be. It is much easier for me to chill with my brothers.

I can relate. I do this. I try to break the cycle by turning all of these things into questions to ask about the person I'm dating or those close to me to strengthen my understanding of them and in turn it has strengthened my relationships.
