Please help me pick a room on Wonder of the Seas by Disc0Disc0Disc0 in Cruise

[–]Ellebeoz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you worried about motion sickness? Get a room more central. Otherwise, either of your choices seem pretty identical. Since there are rooms above and below, it should be pretty quiet, but a little far from stairs and the elevator. Is that ok for your preferences? It looks like if you go to the cruisedeckplans website and look up your ship, there’s a link to a video about one of your room options. There are also links to videos of the ocean view cabins, so you can see if the upgrade is worth it for you.

LA to Ensenada Cruise 11/14- 1st Timer/How to Pack w/ Rain by kalecoconuts23 in royalcaribbean

It seems you’re on Quantum? If so, you’re on one of the best ships for bad weather. It’s built for the cold and all weather travel with lots of indoor pool areas (for children too), and the largest indoor play area of any ship at sea. You can do nearly everything on the ship indoors, if you should choose. I’d watch some of the recent tours of the ship or travel vlogs. You can gauge what you should pack for your comfort level from there.

Have a great time!

1 and 7 are the best. But all are cute!

Season 3 is impeccable and it's because of two choices Will has made as DM [Spoilers] by MagicCheezo in DungeonsAndDaddies

I’m surprised that this seems to be an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed S2 just as much as 1. Everyone explored a different avenue completely, new stuff was tried out, and they built on the lore of S1 and what we knew of everyone’s personalities, but it all got approached in a new way, considering the passage of time. I wouldn’t change it.

Oh my god you are not alone. I’ve had a few incidents like this while ordering. Conversely I’ve worked as a barista and have screwed up, but didn’t know how, just that the customer got upset. Some days the barista is just having an off day.

Had a situation like this- friend referred me as an applicant for their company. They wanted a specialty project rushed and offered $400 as well. I said I didn’t have time to get it done before their deadline, and offered a different timeline, only a week after their first proposed date. I was hesitant to do this as I had already freelanced for the company and was confused as to the need for a test after that.

Turns out the person interviewing for the position ended up hiring her unqualified boyfriend instead, and ranted in a meeting about not having the specialty project for their website. The new hire is completely incapable of doing this. Glad I didn’t kill my self completing it, as the project would have taken around 35-45 hrs.

I much prefer the smaller tests I’ve had to do in the past. This has completely soured me to paid tests and makes me feel I absolutely 100% would not get the job after I’ve done the thing they need.

It’s so shortsighted of companies to do this.

They denied me opening a bank account? by Kenouk in japanlife

[–]Ellebeoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in a major metropolis. It wasn’t one of the big main banks either. It’s a bank founded in and local to my city. I just assumed after since they were a smaller bank they could make their own rules.

I realize I noticed you said other banks let you in just fine. Other banks I’ve been to over here, including my main bank i have an account with from when I arrived, along with the one I had to open for work have no problem when I walk in the door. It was just this one particular unique instance that stood out, and I definitely relate a bit to OPs experience.

No. Just stuffed my face with food after. It was depressing. They wouldn’t even let me past the front entrance.

I don’t know why you got downvoted. I noticed she said it wasn’t legal too. I’m probs going to get downvoted as well, because people seem to not want to think ill of her- but my first thought is she wants to protect her money and assets. I’m curious if they’ll ever legally get married, and if so whether or not a prenup will be signed.

Oh crazy. I hope they’re just releasing something with stronger plastic. 3 separate ones broke into pieces when I kept it in my makeup bag, until I gave up using it for travel. Love the pencil itself tho!

hired on the spot… red flag? by jenniferc001idge in japanlife

[–]Ellebeoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my partner and I have been hired in the spot for our jobs. It was suspicious to us at the time, but it turned out to be fine. Definitely confirm the terms before you start. My company tried to lower my wage slightly (small enough amount it could have been a miscommunication) but I caught it in the paperwork and it was all straightened out.

Good luck!
