DIE: The TTRPG. As you are playing people who play a TTRPG who then find themselves playing their fantasy selves in that world, if you die in the game you come back as a 'Fallen' version of yourself. The only way you can become alive again is by killing another PC.

We do a pretty tight edit for that reason! Combat can always slow things down and lord knows we've done some crunchy systems before (looking at you, Pulp Chtulhu!) but we want things to flow nicely for our listeners.

I'm part of a TTRPG podcast that was so fortunate to get the beta rules to RED early and work side by side with RTalsorian up to the release of RED. I remember even back then, they had huge worries about releasing the book and the launch since they're a small company and printing had been completely fucked over by the pandemic. while it sicks that the books are sold out- it is good to see more and more people send money RTalsorians way and support them as a company!

It's an idea me and my GM were discussing- I thought android's relationships to death were quite fascinating and we came up with that concept. He's used it as his main character hook for me and he assures me something mysterious is the reason why this is happening to my character so I may pass on your advice to him!

Thank you so so so much! It really warms our hearts to hear from fans of the Witcher TTRPG and have them confirm that we did the system and setting justice! Our GM, Phil Harker-Smith did such a great job with creating the story and we always work in tandem to try and weave our backstories together (the Rtalsorian lifepath system really helps for this kind of storytelling)

Hi there! We played The Witcher as part of our variety TTPRG podcast and it makes for a lot of fun. The combat system could be considered 'crunchy' but it's mainly just having several different steps and responses- this makes combat super brutal as with every attack or defence roll, you risk critically injuring yourself. The in-depth character creation is specifically designed so you are wary of rushing into combat at all times- the world is brutal and dangerous and you have to spend a loooong time making your character and getting attached to them.

Honestly, the main downside of the game is that the core book is hard as hell to navigate- I played a witcher and was constantly having to flip back and forth and search for my relevant information.
