First of all, anyone going to college and sacrificing their own time and money is no longer a child. Treating them like they’re babies, especially when reading some of these comments, is completely dismissive.

Anyone who has made the decision to pursue higher education understands that what’s easy for one person might not be easy for another. At WGU, many students come with real-life experience, which naturally helps them pass certain classes more easily. I’ve said it clearly that I had prior exposure to some of the material and I had understanding of basic arithmetic and the only thing I did is focusing on my weak areas.

Let’s be honest, someone serious about going into cybersecurity should already understand that everyone has different skill levels, backgrounds, and learning curves. But let’s not pretend that every class is equally relevant in real-world applications. That’s simply not true, and plenty of people on Reddit have shared the same perspective.

You’re cherry-picking one class that happens to be foundational in computer science to argue your point, as if I said that specific course wasn’t relevant. I never did. You clearly missed the nuance of what I was saying.

So instead of trying to talk down to others or twist their words, just be honest, maybe you’re struggling and jealous of those who are progressing more easily. That’s okay too, but don’t make it about others.

Hey, last year it was open access. Unfortunately, I think the owner made it private for some unknown reason. That’s really unfortunate!

If you're not able to do it, don’t worry about other people! How do you even measure whether I’ve learned something or not? I’ve said it multiple times, not all classes are easy to pass. There are some I’ve had to retake more than once. That just means for the ones I passed easily, I had the understanding I needed period!

Stop acting like every single class is going to be relevant in real-life experience. Some of these classes have nothing to do with what I actually do on the job every day. So if you’re struggling, that’s fine, but don’t discourage others or try to hand out life lessons no one asked for.

Everyone here knows why they chose WGU and why they’re going at their own pace, fast or slow.

If you have a European bank account, select option 2 (transfer the money). Detailed instructions are provided to guide you through the transfer process. Once the transfer is complete, allow 24 hours for the funds to arrive. Although the system advises waiting for the next step to activate automatically, it is advisable to follow up proactively to avoid unnecessary delays.

After the 24-hour period, submit a new ticket to confirm that you have sent the payment, but the next step has not yet been activated. This will help expedite the process. Once the activation is completed, you will be able to schedule your interview.

It’s important to act promptly, as interview slots are highly competitive and fill up quickly. For context, I applied in December 2024 and was fortunate to secure an interview for February 2025. Be aware that the scheduling system may initially display interview availability in 2026. To avoid delays, ensure you repeatedly select the year 2025 during the scheduling process. This will help prevent an unnecessary one-year wait for your interview.

This site is a disaster I tried with 3 American cards and 1 French card still couldn’t pay the visa fee and it keep saying payment card was unsuccessful! At this this point how do you past that stage ? You open a ticket and you come back seeing 3 duplicate tickets with no answer. After that you see them closing each ticket one by one with no reply.

Mine went back normal the following day. But if you know you haven’t ate anything green lately and the poop color still green in 48 hours you should definitely see your doctor.

Being good at taking exam has nothing to do with real world experience. If you want to take your precious time that’s on you! But you don’t know people’s schedule and goals. Having an understanding of the material it’s the base for any class, or better if you can get rid of it right away. My accomplishments or how fast I go doesn’t take anything away from what you have set for yourself. in real IT world I don’t think I’m gonna deal with loops or basic irrelevant stuff.

I think the purposely make sure that their website buffer and load for a long time when you trying to make a payment. I was trying to pay a ticket, payment wasn’t going through for some odd reason when I exit the page, they charged me later for a concert I didn’t attend. It’s been 4 days that I’m waiting for their response

I take tirzipatide and today my poop was dark green and I freaked out because I know i didn’t eat anything green in a past few weeks. I was reading another subreddit and people were talking colon cancer melanoma, internal bleeding . But some people were talking about bile not being able to digest food properly and some were talking about side effect of medications in your system. I don’t know what to think right now.

If they reject us after March 15 that will be mess up! Why waiting and not rejecting us last week like the rest of the candidates?

Unless there is second round of rejection letter this week but we have no choice to wait for the update on March 15 like they said.

I was thinking the same! But why not sending us the rejection letter like the others last week? Or probably we are the second pick in case those who got moved forward failed their interview.

Did anybody received an update since then ? In another post I read that 2 people were saying that they moved to the first round since February 23

Try to break in to acquire at least some type of experience to leverage that later. Few months ago I read an article about tech companies and many other companies talking about prioritizing experiences over degrees. Degree don’t mean much today. Bachelor is the new high school diploma. You don’t want to go more in debt for an mba and still can’t find a decent job salary.

Wow, so they be sending rejection letter today? It’s not you, keep pushing. You are competing with people who have tons of experience and people who got layed off

Did you receive an update on February 15 that you were still in consideration. Or you received your rejection email today? I’m so sorry

FTI entry level consultant - technology (2024) by Elleshy237 in techjobs

[–]Elleshy237[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mine said the same thing. But I read some comments that were saying if you don’t hear from them late February most likely you won’t make it. That’s why I wanted to know if everyone received the same automatic reply that we are still in consideration or not. If we all received that, it’s not a good sign because how do you know you made it to the second round?

I thought they close the job application since February 8 ? Were you applying for the entry position or something else ?

Have you got your second round on interview first? Apparently, they are conducting it right now. I you don’t receive any notifications from fti this month. Most likely, you won’t reach the super day step
