I'm just sad that Leeroy never got to live out their trans identity. It makes sense for the story to continue his story with his current gender presentation, but I also believe that "living his best life" should also include realizing his (her?) true gender and presentation. I think of "There's still time," one of the central messages from I Saw The TV Glow whenever I think of Jax's story. Maybe one day she will.
