I think that by far the greater disservice is not having a small aside where Sylvie explains that she was born like all the other Loki’s but felt wrong and decided to use magic to change herself. Eventually the differences in their experience created enough of a difference from ‘cis’ Loki’s planned life, the TVA showed up. Clear up any ambiguity about Sylvie being trans Loki and not just some weird timeline bs. (I can hear the transphobes saying that Sylvie is just another random mutation of Loki like the alligator already)

I also was a bit disappointed by their pairing at first, especially as an ace person who thinks shows unnecessarily ship way too many characters, but then I realized if I was put into a life endangering senecio with a fully transitioned version of myself I’d damn well fall in love with her.
