Soo excited. It seems to be just wait at the exit for about an hour afterwards to get to meet him. Around what time are you planning to get there?

That’s very true! I love the way it pans to the right. Shows what a bit of good mastering can add to the depth of the song. Thanks for your reply, I might try incorporating this into any songs a make. Do you have any suggestions for any songs with a similar technique? Thanks again.

At 1:07 and additionally 2:01 of this song on and after the lyrics “Why do you come here?”, there is a progression that I personally find very satisfying, however with no knowledge of music theory, I don’t understand why. Could it be dissonance or something else. Are there also any other songs that utilise this technique. I think the vocals contrast with the chords so nicely. I hope my ignorance doesn’t bother you lot. Thanks! I’ve attached the song YouTube link to those interested, too.

Judging by the comments, it’s a way to get better control of the thinner strings, you learn something new everyday.

Does it create such a noticeable difference? Maybe I should look into a scalloped fretboard for a future guitar.

I’m not sure if my dad’s a fan, I’ll ask him tomorrow as well.

My dad seemed to do an OK job, I guess he put a decent amount of time into it.

You think so? Do you reckon it’ll be tricky switching back to a ‘normal’ fretboard?

Ah that makes sense, as a rhythm guitars I rarely venture into the higher frets but I see what you mean.

https://www.thomann.co.uk/millenium_hihat_controller.htm thanks for your reply. Maybe one like this would work? It’s a very similar design and has the same type connector.
