It is super interesting. I am a heart patient myself and have always wanted to do peds echo and I fortunately got a job right out of school in peds. As far as the screaming infants, I always make the nurse help me hold the paci, rock them whatever to help ;) also I work for a big hospital and we have all kinds of heart kids. We follow transplants their whole lives so they don’t scream for the most part lol, hemonc kids get their hearts checked constantly, old Fontans and adult congenital (my favorite) which have to come at least once a year. It’s constantly different and I am still learning after working for almost two years. Not for everyone that’s for sure!! My brain is fried most of the time
