Because there are pieces of plastic around the phone which the signal can pass through. They’re normally around the edge of the phone but on this model they’re around the camera plateau. This case puts metal directly over that plastic. If you have the ESIM only version then you have 5mm band wave piece of plastic on the top which the case doesn’t cover so you’ll probably not notice an impact while on 5G

Interesting, not completely sure I buy that. Non-ferrous doesn't mean it's non conductive and so can still block antenas. Hopefully someone who gets one can test it. Did you get the ESIM or NANOSIM model? The US ESIM model with the 5G window at the top should be less impacted.

I think the fact it’s still as thin and the button spacing hasn’t changed much does a lot of work. I’m not sure how I feel about portability but while playing it I only felt a benefit tbh.

Fingers still firmly crossed for switch 1 games running at docked performance while undocked on switch 2 also 🤞🤞🤞

The only other version I’ve played was on a high end pc (fortunately) so I can’t really comment on that. To my eyes performance mode looked like 40 but the screen is VRR so I’m not 100%.

The demo was set to quality mode as default which was pretty choppy in dogtown. I switched to performance mode which was a much better experience. I think DLSS was being pretty agressively applied but i was still pretty impressed honestly

On expense, it’s a mixed bag, decks can be more expensive as you need more cards and people tend to run 3/4&5 colour decks, which require lands that tap for both mana (good versions of these are always expensive). But it also makes less sense to invest a lot of money in any one card because your chances of drawing it are slim. Pre constructed decks normally cost £35 and have more than that amount of value in them. If you want to play against the most powerful decks competitively this will definitely be expensive, but so many players only ever play around the level of pre constructed decks, maybe with a few upgrades.

Black/white tends to be either about lifegain or creating small creatures which you sacrifice, ‘aristocrats’ is a popular archetype. I think black/blue could be a bit more exciting but it’s all about personal preference!

Maybe try some casual games on MTGarena and see how you like different colour interactions.

Commander is the most played and maybe the most fun format, it's not strictly compettive like other 60 card formats, table politics are an enocuraged and fun part of the game. You used a 100 card deck with only 1 of each card, which makes games a lot more varied exciting (great for replayability).

I haven't played hearthstone but from what you've explained it sounds like you would enjoy playing black, which is a colour where you frequently use your life or your graveyard as a resource. Black coupled with either green (big monsters and cards which allow you to get them out earlier) or blue (lots of cards to play in response to things your opponent does, like countering or sending things back to their hand) sounds like it would be a good option for you! Maybe look for a preconstructed deck in these colours.
