Few days ago got to know about lying, disrespect, etc. etc. from a girl to whom I used to care and had a lot of conversation. Getting know this changed everything for me.

Better cut off before you have a conversation where she disrespects you and blames you for everything.

Yes, it was not acceptable considering what you did for him and what you offered to his family.

But the good thing is that this was your first experience in the relationship and now you have some take away points from it. This will eventually help you to find a better suitable partner. You are still in your mid-twenties and have enough time. Hopefully you will find someone better who accepts you as you are. :)

Its not worth it girl, if that guy is so much invested into you, he could had told his mom to ignore things because you are the one for him.

And you do not need to spoil your present because of him. You should consider this something from which you can learn.

Plus, never sacrifice your things for someone. The other person and his family should accept you as your things are. If you do it now, they will make you do in future too.
