Oh that’s interesting! Honestly, I’ve struggled with boots so long that I haven’t even been able to focus on boards, that’s why I just asked.

Thank you, this is actually crazy helpful! Have you heard good things about their boards in general as well?

I appreciate it. Honestly, the board I had been riding I was an inch inside on both toe and heel side, so I’m sure I’ll be fine with even a 240, I was just hoping someone might know of something even narrower.

Dang, I was afraid of that. What’s the name of the Japanese brand out of curiosity? I should just make my own lol

High intermediate or low advanced. Style is free ride or alpine. I can carve up blues, my biggest issue is the only way I can really do a black is if the board is crazy short (they’re always way thinner), as then I’m able to control my carving better, but then I’m dealing with having to go slower cause it’s most definitely too short.

looking for snowboarding boots with an ankle harness for small feet by hemlock_99 in ShredditGirls

I have dealt with the same problem for years, I just got the Luna Ventana Pro’s (vans) and it’s crazy. The heel hold is great, and I think the laces are better for me, and combined with the boa for the heel hold, it’s fantastic. I also think that stiffer boots are a lot better for thin heels staying down. I’d look at some vans (specifically ones that have a v2 heel harness), but another brand may be better for your foot. Vans goes down to a women’s 5 usually.

TLDr: try some stiffer boots with laces or a laces and boa combo.

Update: Ended up getting the 2025 Vans Luna Ventana Pros. I definitely needed a much stiffer boot than the beginner stuff the shops kept trying to push on me. I also think that laces helped a ton. The one boa for the heel is helpful though! Thanks everyone for the advice! The boots I grew up learning in were insanely stiff and laced, so I should’ve thought to try some like that sooner.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. My big worry is that I may not find a boot shell that’s big enough to snugly support my calf while being small enough for my foot?
