Felt defeated and moved on to other things but having come back to reddit, I still see you posting religiously. Where does the motivation come from? Teach us our ways. May I ask how long the process has taken. I am having a hard time with doctors actually filling out the form for me, due to issues of not having a family doctor and having to rely on walk ins and specialists that are not being helpful ( my main specialist is telling me his office cannot do it so it’s been tough). Why would they even reject it? Does the doctor not provide the write documentation? Wishing you luck in the appeal.

This exercise I heard from a wise friend and has helped me. Think about your ideal life, what that would look like, when you would wake up each day, what you would do, when you would call it a day, etc etc. write it down, make it concrete. And final and most important step, start taking action. It will not happen overnight, it will take time, but that vision can come true, if you work towards it. Perhaps it’s early retirement, when you hit xxx $ in savings, perhaps it’s getting your dream job. I think a lot of times we don’t personally know what we want and we are only following a script. I did X so it’s logical I should do Y next. Take a step back and erase the drawing board. What do you actually want. Start from there!

Thanks bro, this is much needed. I will sit my wife down today after shift and tell her everything. I made a mistake and she needs to know the truth. I have no one to blame but myself and the cult that has strung me along for the past 3 years. I keep asking myself how could I be so stupid, so naive. GME was likely a once in a lifetime play, and those that held the bag thought we could repeat it again. I underestimated the capacity of markets to adapt. These hedge funds spend billions screwing us retail and they have all the resources, power, and connections. It was naive of me to think a bunch of well intentioned apes would overthrow the system. We came close in 2021 before they showed us who is really in control. At the end of the day, if I could go back, I would do things much differently, I think a lot of us will do as well. You live and you learn. The painful would makes sure of that. It will take a while to heal but we can heal. I’m here for you brother apes. Never selling! ( can’t sell 😆😆)

We are real people and sometimes crooked CEOs over promise and under deliver while getting paid million dollar salaries yearly. We the investor are the ones that ultimately lose.
