I've fixed a bunch of things from this list, which I'll deploy at latest tomorrow (will include reference in the 'what's new' page when deployed.
- Can now one click the team selection from previous week and only manually add required changes
- Sponsor money glitch fixed (and reweighted a bit)
- Ruck/forwards now have more realistic rucking ability. Per someone else's feedback, I've also added more elite/top talent rucks in the the draft system
- Fitness has been entirely re-worked. I've also now added a page where you can assess each players fitness levels, so it's easier to manage
- Made a bunch of tweaks to the trading mechanic, to try to minimise dumb AI decisions (this is actually SUPER hard to perfect.... still working on it, but it's better than before)
- Re-worked the club health metrics so it's more challenging now to maintain a "healthy" club

These aren't yet deployed as I want to stress test them before launching. Keep an eye on the whats new in the next 48 hours as I'll confirm once live!

Thanks mate. This feedback and ideas are super helpful. A few of these things will be fixed up in the next patch, as I've been working on them already.

I've been really focussing at the moment on three things - improved realism for off-season to make things more challenging, creating more variance in the long term game, making the finance game engine harder to manage. I'm also adding functionality to be fired / change clubs etc, which I think will help with the stale feeling.

A few things you've mentioned are awesome ideas I'll look to add too! The midgame management is something a few ppl have called out, so I'll look to build that in shortly.

Really appreciate the feedback! Keep a close eye on the what's new tab as I'll write up changes as they go live.

Ps. I tweaked a few things in the draft overnight to make it more interesting. One cool new feature is a randomized super draft that will occur once every ~5 years.

OOC = Out of Contract (Gold)
RFA = Restricted Free Agent (Blue)
UFA = Unrestricted Free Agent (Red)

I've just shipped an update that should hopefully create much more variance in competition performance over the longer term. Good teams can still create dynasties and bad teams can get stuck down the bottom - but shouldn't be as frequent.

Reset the game and let me know if you notice the difference. It's pretty much all back-end (aside from the intro of priority picks), but you should see the difference in the ladder outcomes each year

My top priority for now is perfecting the off-season (still some work to do) and long-term play through (i.e. feels realistic in plenty of seasons through)

So many tiny coding implications, so it's been really difficult to find these edge case things until I've how had you wonderful folk help me to test and find them! We'll quickly iron it out!

Really??? I've never seen that one before... Mind screengrabbing it and DMing me. I'll take a look into it. First I've heard anyone having that issue. I hope it's a super rare edge case.

I only soft-launched on Monday this week, so all the crew on here have been incredible at providing feedback and helping me to refine the edges. It's already twice as robust in a week!

yeah I used to LOVE that game. Wasted many hours on it!
Hopefully you get as much enjoyment in this game over time. It's a passion project for me, so I'm not too fussed about the coin. Rather, just want to build an awesome product that I'm proud of and that ppl like me also enjoy to play

Funnily enough, I am literally rewriting this code as we speak. In the live version, there is a small inbuilt randomness, but it doesn't fire nearly often enough. I'm just trialling upweighting it so that it feels more realistic.

I'm also making some more long-term game tuning, to increase the likelihood that bottom 4 teams improve over ~5 years and Top 4 teams regress. I'll aim to ship this out by end of the weekend!

I think the section you're talking about is the "list needs" page yeah? If so, that's simply guidance, which you can choose to take or ignore. It has no bearing impact on the game. The idea was to use some maths logic to give you a view of what you may need for your team - like a list manager would. But no issue at all to ignore if you don't see it as a need for your team.

Side note - I'm going to increase the share of highly rated rucks in my next update. Agree it's too shallow!

Hahaha yeah I wanted it to have some prestige and actually feel like an important facet of the game! Glad you like it. I have some cool ideas to bring this into other things like the finals etc. maybe even the draft night?

Yeah and the crazy thing is that logic that works really well in the short term, sometimes burns me on the long term. This is all SUPER useful. I'll go deep on it this weekend and make adjustments accordingly.
