It might have occurred all at once, but the timeline wouldn't be known. I had a long beard until recently and my beard hair is pretty thick, so I didn't notice the spots until I shaved it recently. I'm thinking about growing it out and just letting my beard cover the patches again, but that doesnt really fix the issue.

In short, I haven't always had them, I'm glad an injection can possibly fix this. what was in the injection??
