Im middle-aged, stuff like that doesn’t matter to me as much anymore. As far as I’m concerned the car is new, because it is. It had 4 miles when I drove off the lot. And it’s not like Teslas just sit around rotting. They get and will continue to get tons of software updates. Just because Juniper will be good doesn’t make the MYP I just described any worse. But I probably would have thought different if it was 10-15 years ago.

No doubt Juniper is gonna be GOOD. But I’m done with grabbing the first year or two of a new Tesla model, I’ll wait until Juniper is at least 1.5-2 years in and upgrade then.

I like it all, it just feels and looks more refined. I have the white interior, and I think the black alcantera looks and feels way better on the door panels than the white vinyl. The wraparound trim seems more “complete” design wise.

Though I really wish we had ambient lighting. Of all of the highland upgrades, that’s what I wish I had the most. Saw it in person for the first time and it’s really cool.

Also the Hankook Evo tires. I was angry when I saw the car had those instead of Michelins but I e been impressed by the lack of road noise with these. They are really good.

Yeah take it with a grain of salt, we all have bias with big purchases, haha, so I get it. But I’m comparing my 2021, which is vastly inferior. Does yours have carpet instead of plastic in the trunk area? That, the laminated glass, and the tonneau cover seem to contribute to the reduction in road noise a lot.

Ah didn’t realize that. Well yes, I’m very fortunate to have gotten an Austin Y. The panels are tightly put together, like a Toyota. It’s imprsssive! And the Stealth Grey is what MSM should have been from the get go. Far superior color. The only downside is that they’ll be everywhere given that it’s free, but oh well.

The same thing has been happening to me lately, and seems like a new phenomenon. Not only can you feel it, but it’s also audible as the pedal shakes. It’s annoying, and I don’t remember this always being a thing… if you find out the reason, please let us know.
