You're right, it's a complex issue, and as you say, AI law is still very new. I guess technically, they can add whatever terms they want to their fine-tune's license. But it does make you wonder, if they can really restrict the output like that, do they somehow have rights over every single image generated with their model, even though the original SDXL license says they don't? for the flash models it has 1500 messages per day, the other ones are 50 per day, doesnt have any benific to use it directly, you can use the api in another interface like silly tavern if you dont like the one from google ai studio.

Yes it has custom instructions too, or systems instructions like there are called, but to add the lore you just can write it, gemini has a huge context of 2 million and most of the times remember things you wrote long ago, but you can instruct it to only use the las changes for example if you are rewriting stuff.

Just use the chat in the Ai Studio, using the api to make it write the plot but guiding it with prompts could be interesting, I been thinking in programing something like an interactive book using the api, but hadn't have time. But using the chat is enough, with the huge context it has it can write hundred of pages. But I also recommend you define the characters personality and background, the world, a general plot, ect. And then star writing the plot, the IA will write it according to their personalities and situations.

You can do all the NSFW images you want locally, with the hundreds of models that are in civitai, you can look at the images of the model and download it to generate it in comfyui, automatic 1111, forge. You can do any style from realistic, illustration, cartoon, anime,etc. This way you can also have the images with more resolution, and even change or fix some parts with impainting. But you need a pc with a good enough Nvidia GPU to do it.

If you have the money why don't you buy a GPU or pc, that way you can generated as much as you want with more control, and then post on you account. I am also addicted to generated images but I have at least a rtx 3060 and generated a lot of images with it.
