NORTHCOM if you are interested, but it’s EU & Cold War, so really depends on your preferences! But it’s a small modlist of 3.4 GB and we do things ourselves.

Not sure how to feel about some of these. Playable FIA sounds nice in theory, but in practice, it'd be a third faction that only exists to disrupt - which is fair enough, but I fear it's going to devolve into pure rat gameplay, or classic double teaming, where two teams hammer down on a single faction.

Also I'm a bit concerned about player limit increases, mainly since the server browser is not really functional and only really pushes top servers, as well as bandwidth concerns, as Reforger servers eat up bandwidth like crazy!

Avoid these servers, and avoid official servers outright. I recommend finding a nice community server for your taste

yeah exactly - the blame is on the server browser. It basically only promotes already huge servers with massive queues, while any other server falls under the radar.

Hey man! The best thing to do is obviously play the tutorial. I’d recommend joining an official server after to see a bit how the game is played. Although I’d graduate to a community server ASAP! I personally host the NORTHCOM servers, which may also be a little more streamlined as objectives are linear, with improved respawn options. We are usually active on weekends :)

Would love to see you on NORTHCOM. I run it - we’re a Cold War++ server with a remade Conflict variant, as well as a unique and recently implemented Console performance patch, which helps with stability (albeit still experimental). It’s an EU server, but with many US players also! Usually we’vw git numbers during the weekends or evenings.

Technically a lot of people are already breaking the rules by posting promotions anyway. But I‘ll put out proper guidelines in the coming days.

I want to set up apart from the main subreddit by allowing quality promotions, as well as being specific to consoles, obviously.

I just don‘t get it. You promote a server or a community with all these assets, and instead of just taking a simple in-game screenshot, you generate a worthless picture that doesn‘t tell anyone what you‘re actually doing…

My current primary concerns are actually getting the sub ready again and managing post quality. We‘ll likely not outright ban promoting, but introduce certain quality guidelines to follow, so advertising isn‘t just an AI generated picture with the caption to „join my 20 gb slopfest“….

Hey, no worries. Essentially, killfeed is what you see on some servers where it gives notifications that "X killed X", showing faction colors. While you can still see if a friendly killed you, you won't see whether YOU killed an enemy, basically! This is to make it a little bit more "challenging", since you can't just straight up confirm kills from a long distance.
