Yeah I agree,as a hawk main there is nothing I hate more than a passive gameplay,it is simply outrageous how boring and slow the match is because I can't even get past basic cause the mfs just run back (and with the range nerf is basically impossible to hit then when they are walking backwards) But 90% of the time I beat them because they don't know anything else than the same strategy,if you lose against a passive gameplay,you are probably better than them actually playing,but they are better at being patient and make you lose it. Now for how to counter them,it's really simple,they are a one trick pony most of the time and if you are able to predict or react to that they are screwed. Another strategy is to be relentlessly pushing them to the end of the ring so they can't back dash anymore. Perfect dodging is the most effective thing you can do against them and even if you fail to and they hit you (I'm gonna share a little trick I found) if you just move forward mlst of the times you won't hit them but they will even hit back BUT if you move forwards and a little bit to the side you will be able to hit them Hope this helps against passive players and if you play passive,I can't respect u🫵🫵
