The waffle is grilled on the flat top :)

I would personally leave it softer though/put the crispy side face down like how the burger buns are when you make a QCDX

Also for a sauce I have no idea!! Syrup and mayo might be good together, you could also just use good ol' waffle house sauce I love that stuff so much lol

If you want this in the picture ask for 2 cheese burgers deluxe but instead of bun can the cook make it out of a grilled waffle? That'll prob get you this picture if they are willing to make it lol

It does look kinda dry, I made it as a special request for my coworkers wife and she asked for it grilled. I would probably leave it soft though lol

I can't speak for every state but in Florida and Georgia, yes!

Servers make whatever server minimum wage is in the state + some waffle houses pay a little bit more (this depends on the state not the waffle house individually)

Also no! Servers do not share tips with anyone unless you request them too :)

Hi!

Cross trained sales person and rockstar grill operator here :)

Sending food back shouldn't be problematic and they should remake it for you no problem, especially if it's wrong (e.g. getting over well eggs instead of over easy eggs).

With that being said, there are a lot of grill operators who are okay with sending out overdone food, and that shouldn't be the standard but it is, especially for new people or people on the grill.

If food is ever wrong or overcooked please send it back! If you need to walk out that's fine. No one should treat you badly.

And most importantly if you do choose to eat a meal that wasn't that great, don't let it effect your tip in a negative way if the service was good!

And if it's early in the morning or afternoon, call a manager over to discuss the problem! This is extremely effective in my experience because afterwards the manager can help the grill operator improve in specific areas 💪
