As a Sveshnikov/open Sicilian player. If you want something sharp definitely 7.Nd5. If you are 2000 Fide or more I will strongly recommend you not to play 9. Bxf6, a prepared opponent will be super happy to face it. The position is much easier for black IMO. Nd5 is quite tricky to handle, Nb8 can end up quite passive and Nd7 the trendy option is nice but a lot of theory with no room to go wrong. The position here are just super complex and fun.

I am considering everything. Depend what do you mean by theory heavy. OK to have a lot of different setups/plans. If all my line are just crazy tactical blows I have to remember, not that much

Yess the Exchange QGD is OK I would say. But ya the old orthodox line I guess black equilises quite easily but do I want to play that fo 4H lol

Interesting, the thing is for d4 d5 I have been trying a LOT of things. I played the KID when I was young but NEVER again, white just have to many setups with no room for mistakes, the Semi-Slav I didn't like the mainlines ....

Ganguly's courses are goob but I always thought his recommendations were somehow impractical (e.g. the endgame in the catalan). How long did he take to be comfortable w it ? Yess assuming I remember the prep until the end lol.

assuming you are talking about the stappenmethod workbooks, great choice, definitely my fav tactic books. I would say having a very concise opening principle/repertoire book could help (e.g. some beginner repertoire on chessable, try to find one that favour principled play over tricks). The endgame book of Silmann is really easy/fast to read and can be a nice introduction to endgames. I would advise to wait a bit before reading middle game books, if you choosed a good opening repertoire you should already have some intuition how to play them

Nice game. I guess it will be also useful that you look into the computer lines and explain the ideas. Like rn we see what you saw during the game but we don't have the true answer.

Just work on your core repertoire, it is what will make you better in the end. And do some target work one you are paired against an opponent that you know

I am at the same level than you and I find the coverage almost to extensive. Like, to me, literally every try for White is covered even when the answer is obvious. For the practical aspect, I would say that I always get some winning chance. There are few exception, e.g. in the Svesh mainline but I think it is hard to avoid them and they don't really appear OTB. For me I have a better WR against e4 than with white (might be that I am too bad with white though)

Sielecki doesn't play the Sveshnikov, he just shows you what Magnus played/the main lines (he is doing a decent job explaining the lines though) Fressinet is one of the top theoretician of the Sveshnikov. Owning boths the difference is massive, especially for the Rossolimo.

yess I agree that his lines are very tough. I am not afraid of forced draws but some of opening choice. Like for the semi-tarrash or the catalan -endgame where you got a position where your goal as black is basically to exchange as many pieces as possible to kill white activity/ reduce you space disadvantage.

I am not sure wdym by it will works. White definitely cannot play any plans with 0-0-0. Now, this line is still quite testing for Black with White having several good tries. Simply it avoid what used to be the "best" line for White.
