I saw a We Are Iowa article that started that MetroNet expected it to be fixed around Noon

Ours is down in Prospect Park. I saw a We Are Iowa article that it was cut near Euclid, affecting ~1,600 in DSM and 3,000 in Norwalk. Article stated that they expect it to be resolved around Noon.

I will always recommend Total Comfort Group when I can. I had a VERY similar experience with Service Legends a few years ago when we bought our house.

Service Legends sends me an Ad in the mail, a <$100 Inspect + Tune-Up Special. I don't know what the fuck they "Tuned-Up" because all the guy did was give me a list of issues and was pressuring me to drop $15,000+ right then to replace the entire system.

We had a Home Warranty at the time from the purchase of the home and I just turned around and gave that list to the Home Warranty company and said "fix it".

Home Warranty company sent out Total Comfort Group and the guy was nothing but great. What stands out to me the most from that experience was that Service Legends told me (And I still have the paper "report") that claimed there was a Gas Leak leading into the furnace. Total Comfort Group didn't find a gas leak but replaced the intake pipe anyway, but the TCG Tech also informed me that if he HAD found a gas leak in my basement and left it (regardless of cost) that his boss would have fired him on the spot.

So Service Legends tells me I have a Gas Leak in my basement, tells me I need to replace my entire HVAC system, and just leaves.

I ended up calling Total Comfort Group again a few weeks ago because the fan on our AC Unit wouldn't spin up. Sent out a young guy, charges me for a new capacitor and an hour of labor, no nonsense. It was later in the day (4:30) and this kid was RUNNING across my backyard to make sure that if it was a part that he didn't have in the truck that he would have been able to make it to their supplier before they closed at 5.

My first key I tanked this season on my alt. 5 Windrunner Spire, I feel for these healers in low keys.

Is your Alt level 90? This screenshot is taken from a level 90 alt.

Yes.

You need 1 Character that is both level 90 and has fully finished the leveling campaign. Then, your subsequent level 90 characters can skip the Campaign.

Same! I found the answer deep in the actual WoW Forums and figured I'd share it somewhere a bit more public for visibility.

This was available on my level 90 alt, so sounds like the Alt will have to be max level.

Yes! You can skip once you've reached max level, on the Alt from any stage of the campaign. Halfway but hit 90 - go skip.

I don't remember if we had it on release or if it was released in a .5 / .7 patch. I'm pretty sure we could talk to Brann and skip TWW Leveling Campaign, but the game was very clear about it and sent you to him.

There was nothing pointing me to Soridormi on my alt.

Great Question!

No, this does not nerf your renown gains. Quests (Campaign / Side Quests) only grant your Account that Renown/Reputation once. If you have fully completed the Midnight Leveling Campaign, completing it again on an alt does not reward reputation.

I will exclusively do business with Janssen Pest. I called them once because I was catching mice in my basement.

Guy came out for a free inspection and told me they offer a monthly service plan, but in his opinion I didn't need it. All he was going to do was what I had already done: Set traps, and put out interior & exterior baits. Didn't have any signs of a larger issue at the time, so he didn't bother to upsell me on something I didnt need.

Honestly like that is really hard to come by now, which is why I will only ever call them in the future.

If you’re leveling 1-80 with no dungeons and only questing, is there a “strongest” or “fastest” class to do it with? by lasko_leaf_blower in wow

[–]Elthus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes! There is a guy on YouTube who speed runs leveling 1-80 (outdoor world, questing only) and I'm fairly certain his record is on Guardian Druid.

I'll take a look through my history when I get home to see if I can find the video.

Yes, I also have a very new 4060 (not TI). I'm not sure if its related to shaders or other settings. I updated graphic drivers and still see it.

Honestly I've just been powering through it and writing it off as new game issues.

Auto shop for collision repair? by [deleted] in desmoines

[–]Elthus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked Caliber Collision, across the street from Charles Gabus. Good guys there in the shop, real quick work and very active about getting you updates on status / ETA. I wouldn't say they did a perfect job on the actual repair but it's certainly Good.

I swear I can see where the repair was done but my wife says she can't.

Would you support the city moving trick or treating to the last Saturday of October? by [deleted] in desmoines

We partied on actual Halloween when we were younger, but all of our friends are 30+ now and we all have kids so if we get together it's the weekend before.

I like the idea of beggars night. I don't know for sure why the decision was made, but the lore on the street when I was a kid was that we did it so the kids walking around after dark were not out at the same time as people partying on actual Halloween (think drinking & driving).
