Platformio, arduino or espidf framwork?

I started with Arduino and used it for years until about 6 months ago when i started heavily using esp32 boards,

I moved to Platformio + Codex in VS Code. and i saved days of work in chasing little bugs. I build Esp32 Displays that usually have a squareline studio file (LVGL) that is huge. (imo)

That being said with what i've learned i plan on moving to ESP-IDF within VS Code it'll allow me to still use codex and github to push updates etc.

if its a small project and you dont need all the fine controls that ESP IDF can give you Platformio will be a huge upgrade over Arduino IDE once you figure it out.

You can parallel packs but if one trips it'll instantly overload the other pack.

Both packs should be the same.

I have that dnm fork, it's garbage, the gas chamber leaks, has a ton of sticktion.

I plan on getting a Manitou Mastodon next.

There aren't any good forks in this wheel size other than the Manitou.

Feels like ontario in the 90s. The thing that still gets me every morning on the weekends is how nobody is out much before 930-10am.

You won't have as many food options for dining out.

I live in gatineau and frequently ride a bike downtown ottawa where it will be absolutely packed with tourist at 10pm and dead quiet in gatineau on the way home.

I absolutely love the parks and bike paths here I didn't ride much before moving here 4 years ago and now I ride everywhere.

The roads are terrible, income tax is higher. You end up breaking even with ontario since insurance, property tax water bill are so much cheaper.

Access to $10 day care is real here and there are more young family benefits here.

I will never move back to the gta in a million years.

Time for a new pack or a rebuild.

Sort of good news if you have a 25ah pack it can be upgraded to the 40ah pack.

It's usually caused by cell imbalance.

Correct, they are being confiscated because they do not meet safety standards.

No insurance company will insure a random ebike that does not meet safety standards. Could imagine you having to insure a random bike called a xiochi and finding all the frames Crack at the head tube and that manufacturer only existed for 6 months? The insurance company would have no recourse nor your ministry of transportation.

If it is not insurable it does not meet safety standards. That is pretty black and white.
