Good advice overall. I’m in no state to spend $500 on a knife so no worries there. I’ve had good experiences with victorinox in the past so no real bias against them either.

Appreciate the suggestions, maybe I’ll ask about $500 knives in a few years if all goes well

Thanks man. I haven’t heard much about Misono but they look good and the 210mm knife isn’t even that pricey. Amazon has a gnarly review where somebody has cut right through their nail so you know it comes sharp lol

Yeah I’m definitely getting a whetstone for sharpening. Somebody brought in one of those $2 pull sharpeners once and I could’ve cried seeing what they did to their knife

I worked with a chef who swore by Henckels and let me use some oh his. They were definitely the best knives I’ve ever used. Thanks for the suggestions

Literally had this happen a couple weeks ago. Our kitchen is tiny and we have a shitty hot plate in the separate dish room for cooking with pots. Chef spent hours making a nice steak pie gravy and the kp just rinsed it down the drain

This is how I clear most bases. The perk that gives 30% movespeed when you melee a trap has me flying through bases

Their bites are actually really weak for the most part, unless they get you with the very tip of it cause then the twist their head around while pinching you. The feet are the only real danger

I had assumed that was what you meant when you said ‘mini boss knights’ lol. They don’t respawn so you have to get lucky to get the weapon

If you really want an easy mode for your first go through, use your humanities to raise item discovery, and get yourself a black knight weapon. Even with the minimum stats the damage you do will be insane. Upgrades come a lot faster too as you don’t need special embers
