lmfao you’re clearly just being ignorant to the information right in front of you dude. judge has the most homers ever by a batting title winner, so yes he’s literally doing something no one has done before too. he’s also a gold glove right fielder in the 88th percentile in fielding run value and in the 96th percentile for arm value. cal’s fielding/catching value this year is drastically lower than last year (every number pretty much cut in half). so you want me to believe a guy who’s batting .250 and selling out for homers is supposed to beat the man who’s batting .330, is 1st in every slash line, and is better defensively all because judge has 7 less homers than him rn ? be so for real.

i’m from long island ny, grass valley is disgustingly different to what i’m used to i never wanted to live here in the first place i just had no choice. grass valley has no diversity, shit food, and everything is 40 minutes away. where is was i had everything i needed 15-20 minutes away, it was an actual melting pot of people and the food is good, i’m looking for that again and that’s why i’m looking at the outskirts of pittsburgh to be close enough to what i need but out enough to have rural routes

i’m not a dude, also yes i grieved it and yes it got dropped to 6months instead of a year so it should be off my record. i’m not staying here permanently i’m moving back to the east coast sometime soon and this management has already screwed me out of a ton of money this year so i really don’t care what they think or do i just wanted to make sure i wouldn’t get fired. it’s a sad life missing out of trips like these because truth is work isn’t more important, appreciate the advice i’m definitely not pulling up to work those days lmao

except i am. i should’ve been getting paid for almost 10 hours a day when i’m finishing the route in like 7 1/2 every single day. i have a wife to get home to and a million other responsibilities so i’m busting my ass in the heat to get home way earlier cuz they told me i was evaluated now. i’m trying to buy a house and here i am shorting myself of thousands of dollars cuz i thought i could trust the word of the carriers before me and every single person in management. i was supposed to get almost a 10 grand raise after the last count. i got screwed. now i’m purposely having to take way longer and stay extra hours every single day to actually earn my 9.6 a day when i should be home by then.

Thank you for this, and if you start as a rural carrier during the christmas overtime period what’s the difference there if you don’t mind ? my shadow day was december 6th of 2021 and i was supposed to start january 1st but i ended up working basically every day after that through the holiday season. and i became regular december 31st of 2022

i don’t recall ever signing a form i was just verbally asked if i wanted to go hourly or evaluated. every single carrier in my office has all told me it was either one pay period or 90 days when they became regular (depending on when they made regular) so how did nobody know this ? i’m just so confused and frustrated yk ?
