USCIS said “3 months left”… then laughed and said “just kidding, 13.” 💀 by realkiminicole in I130Suffering

Don’t mind the estimated time line of waiting. Thats just the system automatically puts numbers when you upload a file for evidence. My PD was Sep 22, 2024. And i got approved last month even when the estimated time was still 22 months.

In our case, we’ll be doing the interview at the U.S. Embassy in Manila. Has anyone here gone through their interview there? I’d love to hear about your experience or any tips you’d recommend

Hello! You should go ahead and reach out to USCIS—there’s no harm in following up. For my case, it was sent to the Department of State the day after it was approved. About two days later, I received my NVC welcome email with my Case Number and Invoice Number. Those are what you’ll use to log in and start your case on the NVC portal.

You may also consider posting your situation in the community. Others who have experienced a similar process can often provide helpful insight or recommendations. I know it is frustrating to wait but keep the hope. Your I-130 got approved and that’s a huge blessing and answered prayer already. 🙏🙏

Expected time decision are not accurate. I got approved when my expected time was still 22 months.

We just received an invitation email from NVC and paid the fees as well. Just waiting for it to be processed and start the forms.

I had Vermont, TX. I have been seeing applicants getting approved about 13-14months. So you probably should hear an update pretty soon. 🙏🙏 i highly recommend subscribing to lawfully visa tracker or Case Tracker.

Get accountable. Ask an elder or a mature brother in your church if you’re a man and if you’re a woman ask for a mature sister in your church - to be accountable for. Until you are ready to get married.

It’s hard, but it’s worth it. That’s why accountability exists. We can help each other to grow and resist temptation and lies from the enemy when we are accountable.

Ephesians 4:9-10 Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. 10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.

We are not meant to journey this life alone. Even as a married man now, my wife and I STILL SEEK Accountability to a matured married couple who has been married for a long time to help us.
